The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) is pleased to announce after a five-year break, we are organizing a one-day Tribal Fishers Expo to be held at Skamania Lodge on Friday, July 28, 2023.  

 The CRITFC Tribal Fishers Expo has been an annual event focused on providing support to tribal fishers and their unique needs as they exercise their treaty-reserved rights to fish in the Zone 6 fishery. The Expo is held to promote fisher safety on the river, increase emphasis on quality fishing techniques to create a wholesome, high quality resource, and keep fishers up-to-date on best resources. The day will feature safety gear distributions, informational booths from fishing vendors, agencies promoting water and boating safety, health organizations, and presentations by industry experts on a wide variety of topics including but not limited to best methods to improve the product quality of the fish, promote boat safety through training of recommended maintenance actions, and provide other information to improve the fishery and access to markets.
